Description
The Port of Port Angeles is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an approximately 153-by-263-foot pre-engineered metal building in accordance with the architectural and structural drawing package. The scope includes engineered drawings and calculations; primary frames and wind columns; crane runway beams; wall girts, C-channels, roof purlins, roof decking, R-panel wall panels, trims, and flashing; and design coordination through plans for approval and production. The supplier must accommodate specified crane-support corbels, loading conditions, deflection criteria, seismic separation, applicable building codes, and design loads. TPO roofing, insulation, roof crickets, roof curbs, weatherproofing at the seismic gap, and certain other work are by others. Proposals must include a one-page Letter of Introduction, a narrative describing the proposed building and compliance with Table 1 requirements, relevant public and private pre-engineered metal building experience, three project references with contact information, an estimated manufacturing and delivery schedule, and a fee schedule separately identifying the building fee and delivery costs. The proposal must be submitted by email in PDF format with “POPA PEMB RFP” in the subject line.
