Description
Energie NB Power is procuring two new gantry cranes for the Mactaquac Life Achievement Project: an intake gantry crane with 42,000 kg main-hoist capacity, 10,000 kg auxiliary-hoist capacity, and a 5,000 kg grapple hoist; and a tailrace gantry crane with 15,000 kg main-hoist capacity and 7,500 kg auxiliary-hoist capacity. The scope includes design, fabrication, supply, factory testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, load testing, certification, training, documentation, and warranty-period service. The cranes will handle stoplogs, trashracks, bulkheads, head gates, debris-removal equipment, and construction materials. Personnel-lifting capability is addressed through required design and pricing options, with the supplier responsible for designing the personnel-lift system in accordance with applicable requirements. The proposal must include technical and methodology responses, up to three comparable completed gantry-crane projects with client references, preliminary general-arrangement drawings, a project schedule, execution and logistics plans, warranty information, after-sales support details, quality-system information, and pricing. Required submission files include a proposal without pricing information, the completed Submission Form, the completed Pricing Table, and a reviewed Draft Agreement template. Proposals must be uploaded through the Euna Procurement Platform; email, facsimile, and paper submissions are not accepted. Addendum 5 extended the intent-to-bid and proposal deadline to October 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. ADT and added pricing for required performance and labour-and-material bonds, along with deductions for excluding the personnel-lift systems.
