Description
Blount County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a new concession and restroom facility at the Blount County Multipurpose Center. Separate bids may be submitted for plumbing, electrical, masonry, HVAC, and framing; bidders may bid on one, multiple, or all disciplines, provided each discipline is clearly identified and separately priced. The contractor or contractors must furnish the labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidental items necessary to complete the work, except for specifically identified owner-provided donated materials. Bids must include a bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid amount. Successful bidder(s) must provide bonds and insurance required by Alabama law and the contract documents, maintain applicable Alabama licenses, and comply with federal, state, and local requirements, including Alabama's E-Verify program. A statutory preference will apply to eligible Blount County bidders under Alabama Code Title 39.
