Description
Kern County is soliciting prices for new, unused current-model-year vehicles across multiple classes, including compact and full-size SUVs, pickups, utility-bed trucks, dump trucks, and flatbed trucks. The listed estimated quantities total 44 vehicles; quantities are informational and are not guaranteed. Vendors may bid on individual vehicle classes and must complete the applicable vehicle specification sheets and pricing fields, identify the exact make and model, and state any exceptions to the specifications. The County may make separate or multiple awards by vehicle class and will evaluate base unit prices, including applicable taxes, delivery, and early-payment discounts as specified. Vehicles are generally to be delivered within 120 calendar days after receipt of a purchase order. The solicitation also specifies warranty coordination and service requirements, including local or mobile warranty service for certain vehicle classes. Local vendor preference may apply, and vendors claiming eligibility must complete the provided worksheet.
