Description
The City and Borough of Juneau seeks a term contractor for maintenance and parts for the dormakaba PIL-M02 16 Exit Lane Breach Control device at Juneau International Airport. The contractor must use a dormakaba-certified and trained technician. The scope includes biannual inspections during normal business hours, inspection reporting, firmware and parameter verification with database backup, functional and safety testing, damage inspection and photo documentation, cleaning and lubrication, minor controller and mechanical adjustments, and glass and glazing checks. The contractor must also create an asset inventory and database, provide priority scheduling for service calls, and provide 24/7 access to the dormakaba Care Center call line. The contract is expected to run from award through June 30, 2027, with automatic annual renewals for up to four additional years. The solicitation requires pricing for one biannual inspection visit; quantities are estimates. Airport security requirements apply to personnel accessing restricted areas, including SIDA badging and associated background checks. Insurance documentation is required from the apparent awardee within five working days of notice of intent to award, not with the initial response.
