Description
Lone Star College System is seeking proposals for 67 open-circuit, positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus units for its fire science and fire academy training programs. Required equipment includes NFPA-compliant and NIOSH-approved SCBA assemblies with CBRN certification, 4,500-psi cylinders in specified durations, PASS devices, heads-up displays, RIC UAC fittings, data-logging electronics, compatible facepieces, storage racks, and related accessories. The supplier must provide certification documentation, delivery to designated campuses, pre-configuration, initial functional testing, serial-number inventory, manuals, flow-test records, spare-parts pricing, warranty information, and options for trade-in or disposal of retired equipment. The solicitation also requests pricing for replacement parts, annual inspections, cylinder testing and hydrostatic testing, preventive maintenance, emergency and standard repair labor, delivery, initial user training, train-the-trainer sessions, equipment orientation, and additional on-site training. Prices and discounts are to remain effective for up to three years from award, with two additional one-year renewal options by mutual agreement. Multiple awards may be made, and purchases will occur on an as-needed basis.
