Description
Saint John School District 3 is seeking equipment and installation services to upgrade its school network. The requested Category 2 internal-connection equipment includes 42 wireless access points, including one outdoor access point; four 8-port switches with PoE++ capabilities; four 48-port switches with PoE++ capabilities; two floor-mount switch racks with wire management; and two rack-mount UPS backups. Ubiquiti or equivalent is specified for the access points and switches, while no manufacturer preference is stated for the racks or UPS units. Installation and initial configuration are required for the wireless access points, switches, racks, and UPS equipment. A building walkthrough is required for bidding. The Form 470 states that bids may be considered on or after November 11, 2026, and that price is the primary factor in selecting the most cost-effective offering.
