Description
McLean County is seeking one new, unused, current-model-year midsize three-row sport utility vehicle for governmental fleet operations. The vehicle must seat at least seven passengers and include a gasoline V-6 engine producing at least 300 horsepower, automatic transmission, four-wheel or all-wheel drive, a towing capacity of at least 5,000 pounds, and specified safety, interior, technology, and exterior features. The vehicle must be delivered with title, license and registration, two sets of keys, a front license plate mount, and a complete set of shop manuals or software. Minimum warranties are three years or 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper and five years or 60,000 miles powertrain. The proposal must include vehicle specifications and any alternates, pricing delivered to the Highway Department, an approximate delivery date, and any exceptions to the specifications. McLean County is offering a 2017 Ford Explorer four-door base vehicle, VIN 1FM5K8B84HGD07171, as a potential trade-in and requires a firm trade-in price; the County reserves the right to retain the trade-in. The plan-holders list identifies Landmark Ford Inc., Holz Motors Inc., Vogler Motor Company, Bob Ridings Inc., and Barker Motor Company as plan holders; it does not identify an awardee.
