Description
The San Mateo County Transit District and Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board seek a provider to supply, install, stock, maintain, and ultimately remove vending machines at agency facilities. The machines must offer cold beverages and snacks, with hot beverage machines at one location; provide cashless payment and bill/coin capabilities; and meet specified accessibility, energy-efficiency, capacity, and product requirements. The contractor is responsible for equipment costs, stocking, repairs, cleaning within the vending area, and timely response to malfunctions. The agencies will select products and receive monthly commissions based on net sales. The solicitation calls for separate agreements with each agency, each with a five-year base term and up to three one-year options.
