Description
The City of Carbondale is soliciting bids to remove an existing clarifier drive and install a replacement clarifier drive in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, including ensuring proper clarifier operation. The work is subject to Illinois Works Jobs Program Act and Illinois Works Apprentice Initiative requirements, as well as prevailing-wage requirements under the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act. Bids must be submitted on City-furnished forms in a sealed envelope. A bid security in the form of a certified bank check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid price is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
