Description
The Town of Pineville is soliciting bids for the Existing Water System Renovations project. The project includes four contracts: Contract 1 involves the supply of a new trailer and mini excavator, and the replacement of an existing 6-inch water line with a new 10-inch line from downtown Pineville toward a booster station site on WV Rt. 97. Contract 2 involves the repair or replacement of approximately 25 fire hydrants. Contract 3 involves water treatment plant upgrades. Contract 4 involves the installation of new radio read meters for all existing customers and the installation of 3 master meters for water accountability. The project is partially funded with federal funds and is subject to various federal regulations including the American Iron and Steel requirement for Contracts 1, 2, and 4, and Buy American preferences for Contract 3. Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Executive Order 11246, and other requirements. A mandatory pre-bid conference for Contracts 1, 2, and 4 will be held on August 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bids are due by September 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
