Description
East Baton Rouge Parish School System is soliciting sealed or electronic bids from Louisiana-licensed contractors holding the major classification of Building Construction for repair, alteration, and construction work at Tara High School. The project includes replacement of the athletic track and associated ground improvements; site preparation, demolition, grading, drainage, asphalt or concrete paving, and erosion control; ball-field filling and leveling; a full-depth 10 mm poured polyurethane synthetic track surfacing system with embedded EPDM texture and track/event markings; field irrigation; vinyl-coated chain-link fencing and gates; and miscellaneous restoration and cleanup. The work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the commencement date established in the Agreement or Notice to Proceed. The bid must include 5% bid security, and the successful contractor must furnish 100% performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds. A mandatory in-person pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CDT. The apparent low bidder must submit specified affidavits and the Fair Share Program Bid Form within 10 calendar days after bid opening.
