Description
The City of Robstown is soliciting sealed bids for the Casa Blanca Southwest and Central Robstown project, consisting of two base-bid contracts with associated additive bids. Bidders may submit for one or both base-bid contracts and must demonstrate capacity to perform multiple contracts simultaneously if seeking multiple awards. The work includes complete pavement removal; subgrade compaction; geogrid, limestone base, asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and driveway improvements; underground storm system pipe, curb inlets, and manholes; and water, sewer, and gas improvements needed to eliminate utility conflicts. The project is federally funded through the General Land Office under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant–Mitigation program. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, nondiscrimination requirements, Section 3 requirements, and contractor and subcontractor debarment clearance apply. A 5% bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. government bonds is required with each bid.
