Description
The San Francisco Unified School District seeks a structural pest control provider to implement integrated pest management practices at approximately 140 school and administrative properties. Required services include monthly onsite inspections by licensed technicians, review of pest reports and work orders, installation and maintenance of traps and bait systems, pest removal and abatement, treatment of insect infestations, pesticide-application notifications, detailed digital service logs with photographs, and regular reporting in digital and hard-copy formats. The contractor must comply with California pesticide regulations, the California Healthy Schools Act, and San Francisco's Integrated Pest Management Ordinance. The scope also includes IPM plans, staff training, work-order coordination, pesticide-use reporting, and 24/7 emergency pest abatement for public-health and safety issues. Assigned technicians must hold valid California pesticide applicator licenses, and the provider must maintain the specified San Francisco structural pest-control license and an approved IPM certification. Proposals must include a narrative proposal, separate cost proposal, minimum qualifications certification, release-of-liability forms for references, and three similar-project references, including at least one school setting.
