Description
This Sources Sought Notice seeks firms capable of supporting Shape Stable Nose Tip manufacturing capacity expansion for strategic programs. The anticipated effort includes phased procurement of commercial-off-the-shelf and bespoke industrial equipment; installation, integration, and testing at the contractor's facility; production of three-dimensionally reinforced carbon-carbon composites; destructive and nondestructive testing and inspection; manufacturing expansion management; Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification activities; Government Furnished Property stewardship; and systems security engineering to achieve a Navy Authority to Operate. Approximately five full-time-equivalent personnel are expected to provide on-site support at the contractor facility. Respondents must submit a detailed White Paper capability statement demonstrating the required technical qualifications and recent, relevant experience. The response must address production and machining of specialized carbon-carbon composites, equipment procurement and qualification, safeguarding requirements, and contract references involving comparable scope, size, complexity, and annual incurred costs. The White Paper is limited to five pages, excluding required company administrative information, and must be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format using 12-point Times New Roman and one-inch margins.
