Description
The West Virginia Parkways Authority seeks a vendor to furnish and deliver ready-mixed, air-entrained commercial concrete under an open-end contract. The estimated quantity is 1,500 cubic yards for each of three sections, totaling 4,500 cubic yards for pricing purposes; actual orders may be higher or lower. Pricing must be provided per cubic yard for all three sections and include delivery and related charges. Concrete must meet the specified 4,000 PSI minimum compressive strength at 28 days, air-content, aggregate, water-cement ratio, slump, temperature, and applicable ASTM/ACI requirements. The supplier must submit a complete mix design for written approval before supplying concrete, deliver using ready-mix trucks, coordinate scheduled deliveries, and provide delivery tickets. The award is based on the lowest evaluated total cost among bids meeting the specifications.
