Description
Middle Georgia Regional Library is soliciting proposals for Internet access services at 18 library locations across seven Georgia counties. The requested services include fiber Internet connectivity with bandwidth options ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, static IP address allocation, managed Internet service, basic firewall service, CIPA-compliant content filtering, monitoring, technical support, and compatibility with wireless access points. The vendor must provide all necessary equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, connections, and Ethernet cabling, and must include installation, maintenance, proactive monitoring, and on-site repairs when appropriate. The contract is intended to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with two optional one-year extensions. Full implementation is required by July 1, 2027. Proposals must include pricing for eligible and ineligible services, separate pricing for advanced firewall service, service-provider invoicing, the vendor's SPIN and FCC Registration Number, and at least five references. A performance bond or equivalent surety is required if the vendor is selected.
