Description
The project involves reconstructing approximately 8.3 miles of forest road using full-depth reclamation, aggregate surfacing treated with calcium chloride, and drainage improvements. The plans also include minor bridge work, roadway signs, traffic control, erosion-control measures, and related construction activities. Options include an additional 3.4 miles of reclamation, an additional 14.1 miles of reclamation, and 7.5 miles of minor asphalt patches. The estimated price range is $5 million to $10 million. The attached plans and project description are preliminary; the formal invitation for bids and specifications are expected to be issued later.
