Description
Yazoo County is requesting qualifications from engineering firms or individuals to prepare FY 2027 Community Development Block Grant project applications and, subject to award, implement approved projects through closeout. Services include preparing cost estimates, plans, and specifications; distributing bid documents; assisting with bid openings, bid tabulations, and construction-contract execution; conducting a preconstruction conference; performing construction inspection; preparing periodic reports; and approving payment requests. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. Respondents must provide assigned personnel qualifications, relevant firm experience and prior grant projects, and the number and titles of staff assigned. The County will negotiate a fair and reasonable fixed-price contract with the highest-ranked qualified respondent, subject to CDBG awards and removal of environmental conditions; a separate contract will be executed for each awarded project.
