Description
Copiah County is requesting qualifications from engineering firms or individuals to provide services for FY 2027 Delta Regional Authority projects, if funding is awarded. The engineer will support projects through closeout and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. The scope includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting with bid openings and bid tabulations, assisting with construction-contract execution, holding a pre-construction conference, performing construction inspections, providing periodic reports, and reviewing and recommending approval of construction payment requests. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance; proposed engineering fees must not be included and price will not be used in ranking. A separate contract will be executed for each awarded project, subject to funding and applicable pre-contract requirements.
