McAllen Independent School District is seeking qualified suppliers for fine arts equipment, supplies, and related products and services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes new musical instruments across string, woodwind, brass, percussion, keyboard, and guitar families; dance uniforms, supplies, equipment, masks, choreography, and software or site licenses; theater playwrights, costumes, production supplies, props, tools, choreography, and software or site licenses; and choir, band, orchestra, and mariachi uniforms, supplies, sheet music, masks, garment bags, choreography, and software or site licenses. The solicitation also includes instrument-related services such as replacement, repair, resetting, chemical flushing, parts, tuning, maintenance, inspections, and testing. Repairs generally must be completed within one week unless otherwise arranged, and repaired instruments carry a 90-day warranty against defects. This is an extended response-period, non-exclusive RFP with periodic awards to qualified vendors; proposals may be submitted through June 30, 2027, for a coterminous contract ending June 30, 2028. New or unlisted suppliers should respond, while suppliers that already responded do not need to submit again. The response must include percentage-discount pricing and a catalog website address; catalogs themselves should not be submitted.
