Description
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Division of Florida Highway Patrol, is soliciting competitive bids for approximately 35 helmet-mounted law enforcement night vision binocular kits during the initial term, with additional units available on an as-needed basis. Products must include U.S.-made binocular housings, Elbit or L3Harris Generation 3 or 3+ intensifier tubes meeting specified imaging thresholds, Carson or Noctis military-specification objective lenses, an A4 Ultralight mounting system, a hard storage case, and a helmet counterweight system. Approved equivalent products may be proposed only after Department approval through the question-and-answer process. The contractor must furnish and deliver the equipment, provide an original limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty, and provide lifetime maintenance, inspection, service, and repair support. The initial contract term is two years, with an option to renew for up to two additional years. Bidders must submit the completed price sheet for both the initial and renewal terms, along with the required bidder information and certification forms. The award is intended for the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on total price.
