Description
The Defense Commissary Agency is conducting market research for a modern, enterprise-grade eCommerce solution supporting its global grocery retail operation. The requested capability includes shopper-facing web and mobile experiences, registration and payment, personalized shopping lists and recommendations, product and catalog management, pricing and promotions, inventory visibility, identity and eligibility validation, and integration with existing enterprise systems. The solution must support omnichannel fulfillment, including buy online and pick up in store, curbside pickup, ship-from-store, delivery, substitutions, inventory reservation, notifications, exception management, and cold-chain considerations. Respondents should describe a modular, API-first, cloud-based architecture deployable in FedRAMP-authorized and Department of War-approved Impact Level 2 or higher environments; scalability for a multi-million-SKU catalog and global operations; security, accessibility, logging, monitoring, continuity, data portability, and transition support; mobile capabilities; and a phased implementation approach. This is a Request for Information for market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Responses must address the requested corporate profile and capability questions, including business size, socioeconomic status, contract vehicles, CAGE code, UEI, and authorized reseller status where applicable.
