Description
The Kenton County Airport Board is seeking a qualified certified public accounting firm to audit its financial statements for calendar years 2027, 2028, and 2029, with options for audits covering 2030 and 2031. The engagement includes audits of the Board’s basic financial statements, applicable single-audit and governmental-auditing requirements, internal-control and compliance reporting, and related reports for its Passenger Facility Charge program. Year One also includes transitioning the Board from basic financial statements to its first publication-ready Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for fiscal year 2027. The auditor must provide implementation planning, templates, technical guidance, review, recommendations, and support for the ACFR’s introductory, financial, and statistical sections. Proposals are limited to 25 pages and must address firm qualifications, key personnel, audit approach, references, fees, exceptions, insurance, resident and non-resident status forms, and required proposer-authority information.
