Description
The University System of New Hampshire is soliciting proposals from one or more qualified firms to provide scheduled preventive maintenance, safety and operational inspections, calibration and verification, and corrective repair services for 28 laboratory units at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. The inventory includes 19 autoclaves and sterilizers and nine glassware or cage-bottle washers across Getinge, Consolidated, Gruenberg, and Primus equipment. Eligibility requires technicians qualified to service Getinge units, although firms may bid on all units or a subset and awards may be made by equipment group. For each unit bid, firms must provide both a full-coverage annual price, including preventive maintenance and repair parts and labor, and a baseline annual price for preventive maintenance with repairs billed at an all-in time-and-materials labor rate plus parts. Proposals must address OEM parts access, service software and diagnostic tooling, factory-level technician certifications current within five years, at least five years of comparable experience, recommended maintenance frequencies, service-level commitments, parts lead times, washer chemical-dosing and detergent arrangements, and documented service reports. The resulting contract is intended to run for three years with two optional two-year extensions.
