Description
Hillsborough County seeks a contractor to purchase, remove, transport, and beneficially use or resell finished Class AA compost produced from biosolids and yard trimmings. The estimated annual quantity is 24,000 tons, but the County does not guarantee a minimum quantity and may retain up to 10% of monthly production. The contractor must maintain sufficient transportation capacity and lawful end markets, remove requested compost within three business days, and handle its storage, marketing, resale, and lawful disposition after removal. The contract is a revenue arrangement: the contractor pays the County based on the accepted purchase price per net ton, with monthly remittances and supporting reports.
