Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research only and is not a request for proposals or an award opportunity. The contemplated follow-on requirement would provide Alteration Installation Team services for Navy platforms and related facilities, including engineering and project management; shipboard installation, removal, modification, fabrication, welding, rigging, fire watch, scaffolding, cable and fiber-optic work, electrical modifications, equipment and structural foundation work, material handling, shipping, and restoration of disturbed surfaces. The scope also includes ship checks and site surveys, installation planning, testing and inspection, quality assurance, technical and status reporting, configuration documentation, troubleshooting, post-installation verification, and travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations. The contemplated contract would use a cost-plus-fixed-fee structure with a 12-month base period and up to four option years. Respondents must complete the Attachment 4 questionnaire and provide company, capability, security, certification, and recent past-performance information; the questionnaire requests relevant work performed within the last three years and reference contact information. A future solicitation is expected to include OPSEC requirements and require an OPSEC plan, but that plan is not required for this sources-sought response.
