Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Energy intends to award a 19-year, firm-fixed-price sole-source contract to Interstate Storage and Pipeline Corporation for services and facilities to receive, store, protect, and ship government-owned Jet-A aviation fuel. The contractor will unload fuel from tankers or barges at a port dock and transfer it through a contractor-furnished pipeline to McGuire Air Force Base. The requirement includes annual throughput of 900,000 barrels, with storage at a single facility available and operational upon award. This is a notice of intent to make a sole-source award, not a request for competitive proposals. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide the service for consideration before the intended award; telephone submissions are not accepted.
