Description
The City of Boise is procuring and taking delivery of equipment for the Boise Airport Central Utility Plant. The base bid includes chilled-water primary and secondary pumps, condenser-water pumps, heating-hot-water primary and secondary pumps, condensing boilers, water-source unitary heat pumps, pad-mounted liquid-filled medium-voltage transformers, medium-voltage metal-clad switchgear, and low-voltage main-tie-main switchgear. Add Alternate 1 includes six switchboards, and Add Alternate 2 includes a diesel engine generator. The procurement is limited to equipment manufacture and delivery; installation, construction, and commissioning are excluded, although the successful bidder must coordinate delivery with the overall airport project’s construction manager/general contractor. The equipment must meet detailed mechanical and electrical specifications, including energy-efficient operation, remote monitoring and controls, system redundancy, domestic-content requirements, and applicable federal aviation grant provisions. Bidders must provide the required electronic proposal materials, references, certifications, bid security, and supplier information through the designated procurement platform.
