Description
The City of Redondo Beach is soliciting bids for construction of the Pallet Shelter Expansion Project at 1521 Kingsdale Avenue. The scope includes excavation, grading, gravel and base construction, sidewalks, concrete curbs and retaining walls, sewer and copper water lines, fencing, a motorized gate, guardrails, landscaping, traffic control, construction surveying, stormwater BMPs/SWPPP, and electrical and lighting work. The project includes installation of 16 city-furnished pallet shelter buildings and furnishing and installation of two UltraLav shower/toilet facilities. The estimated project cost is $675,000, and the facility must be ready for service within 50 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold an active California Class A contractor license, have at least five years of applicable experience, and provide five recently completed similar public works projects.
