Description
Macomb County's Department of Roads is seeking new tires for cars, trucks, trailers, and miscellaneous equipment, along with tire recapping. Tires must meet applicable DOT and OEM requirements and meet or exceed the specified ratings and quality standards. The bid package must include a complete price list, specifications, and product literature, including tire photographs. Recapping bidders must state credits for usable returned casings, and unusable casings must be returned when requested. Proof of the manufacturer's warranty and, for recapping, proof of $1 million liability insurance are required with the bid. The contract covers releases and deliveries as needed for one year, with two possible one-year extensions.
