Description
Dallas Area Rapid Transit is seeking a vendor to supply new passenger, passenger-truck, and trailer tires for its non-revenue vehicle fleet. The solicitation lists tire sizes, specifications, and estimated quantities across 46 line items; bidders must price all line items and identify the manufacturer or an equal product for each item. Tires must meet federal safety requirements; retreads, recaps, used, regrooved, and type 3 tires are not accepted. The vendor must deliver tires within 24 hours of an order, pick up and dispose of used tires when requested, and provide a monthly bill listing invoices. The contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity arrangement with a two-year base term and one one-year option. A 5% Small Business Concern participation goal applies, with good-faith efforts permitted if the goal is not met.
