Description
Birmingham City Schools is soliciting a comprehensive, research-based English Language Development program for Multilingual Learners in grades K-12. The solution must include standards-aligned digital and print instructional materials, student and teacher licenses, benchmark and progress-monitoring assessments, reporting and data-integration capabilities, professional learning, instructional coaching, technical support, and implementation services for all 43 schools and the Virtual Academy of Learning Program. The program must align with WIDA English Language Development Standards, address listening, speaking, reading, and writing, support preparation for the WIDA ACCESS assessment, and provide actionable student, subgroup, school, and district reporting. Vendors must demonstrate relevant K-12 experience, organizational capacity, at least three similar references, and evidence of program effectiveness. The proposal must include an implementation plan, training and coaching approach, project management and quality assurance plans, product literature, required certifications and forms, and all-inclusive annual pricing. The initial term is one year with two one-year renewal options.
