Description
The City of Salem, Missouri, is soliciting sealed hardcopy bids for Phase 2B improvements to its wastewater treatment facility. The work includes modifications to the influent pump station; design, fabrication, delivery, installation, process integration, startup, warranty, and operations and maintenance manuals for submersible chopper pump equipment; repairs and recoating of existing secondary clarifier mechanisms; below-slab piping modifications; and installation of telescoping valves. The project also includes construction of a tertiary filtration process and a new concrete masonry unit building, along with design, fabrication, delivery, installation, startup, warranty, and operations and maintenance manuals for surface filtration equipment, a non-potable water pump station equipment package, and a clear well. Bidders must be registered plan holders, submit a sealed hardcopy bid on the unbound Bid Form, include bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, and comply with applicable prevailing-wage, Davis-Bacon, nondiscrimination, debarment, E-Verify, OSHA, and federal funding requirements.
