Description
Greenville County seeks a qualified contractor to construct two concrete pads at the Sheriff's Office Center for Advanced Training: one approximately 220 by 20 feet and another approximately 150 by 8 feet. Work includes preparing, grading, and forming the areas; supplying and placing five-inch-thick, fiber-reinforced concrete with a minimum 3,500 PSI compressive strength; applying a broom finish and saw-cut control joints; grading for drainage; and removing debris. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, hold an active South Carolina contractor's license appropriate to the work, and complete the project within 30 days after the Notice to Proceed, with completion no later than February 1, 2027. A one-year workmanship and materials warranty is required. The bid requires a 5% bid bond; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds equal to the total bid price after award. Bidders must submit company information, relevant experience, at least three references, a copy of the required contractor's license, pricing, and the required portal questionnaire responses. The solicitation also requires insurance coverage and names the County as an additional insured where applicable.
