Description
Carbondale Public Library is requesting proposals for Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) for its existing Category 2 network infrastructure. The selected provider will operate, manage, monitor, and support eligible equipment and services, including the firewall, switches, router, cabling, wireless access points, network controller, and UPS battery backup. Equivalent or comparable brands may be proposed where the current platform identifies a particular brand. Bidders must have an E-Rate SPIN, have the 2027 Service Provider Annual Certification Form 473 on file with USAC, comply with applicable USAC, state, and local procurement requirements, and offer the Lowest Corresponding Price. Proposals may include hourly networking-service rates, multi-year terms with specified voluntary extensions, month-to-month arrangements, or varying contract terms. Any long-term contract must address the possibility of discontinued E-Rate funding, and bidders must clearly identify any free services offered.
