Description
The solicitation requests manufacture of 82 laminated shims, part number BRFLX0800X4800X.125-2, in three quantities/configurations: 64 US, 16 UK, and 2 D5LE2. The shims are specified as 8-inch by 48-inch sheet material, 0.125-inch thick, per AMS-DTL-22499. The procurement is identified as sole source to Accu Trex because the shims are direct replacements needed to maintain compatibility with the existing system; other responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration of whether to compete the requirement. The contractor must meet the drawing and statement-of-work requirements and provide inspection reports, including applicable certificates and certificates of conformance. The solicitation requests firm-fixed-price pricing, including shipping. Delivery is specified as four weeks after award in the solicitation schedule; the statement of work separately says quantities are due 12 weeks after receipt of order. The solicitation also requires a signed offer with the solicitation number, offeror details, UEI, required evaluation information, applicable representations and certifications, and agreement with the solicitation terms and amendments.
