Description
The City of Kelowna is establishing a standing offer with qualified mechanical contractors to provide as-needed maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, emergency response, and minor installations for City facilities. The scope covers HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, pumps, fans, air-handling units, exhaust systems, hydronic systems, domestic hot water systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and associated controls, along with commissioning, documentation, and reporting. The work is intended to keep facilities and mechanical systems safe, code-compliant, and continuously operational, with minimal disruption to staff and public use. Contractors must provide qualified and appropriately licensed tradespersons, 24/7 emergency-service capability, relevant experience and qualifications, methodology and response times, sustainability information, references and past performance, and pricing. The estimated full-term value is not more than $4,000,000, and the standing offer is expected to run for three years with up to two one-year extensions.
