Description
Northern Health is seeking qualified, licensed nurses to provide foot care services to residents at Stuart Nechako Manor. Services include foot care assessments and care plans, skin and nail care, care for ingrown, difficult, or fungal toenails, dry heel care, corn and callus care or prevention, and referrals to other health professionals. The provider must make best efforts to supply nurses certified in advanced foot care and provide all tools sterilized by autoclave in accordance with the cited provincial best-practice guidelines. The provider must comply with provincial health orders and health, hygiene, and safety regulations; maintain sanitation and client confidentiality; notify management of observed foot care concerns; and provide quarterly service reporting. Respondents must submit a letter describing fees and charges, the location(s) where they can provide services, and their qualifications and experience in advanced foot care. Required qualifications include applicable WorkSafeBC coverage, comprehensive liability insurance of at least $2 million per occurrence, relevant certifications and licenses, and a recent criminal record check. Priority will be given to applicants residing in Vanderhoof, offering competitive pricing, and able to begin promptly.
