Description
The City of Independence is seeking one new, unused, high-roof, all-wheel-drive Type II advanced life support ambulance based on a Ford Transit T350 AWD chassis or documented equivalent. The proposal must include the completed conversion, required chassis and patient-compartment features, oxygen and suction systems, cot-loading and mounting equipment compatible with the City's existing Stryker powered cot, electrical and warning systems, red-and-black reflective graphics, freight, testing, documentation, training, and a manufacturer inspection visit for two City representatives. The package must also include one new ZOLL X Series monitor/defibrillator with specified ALS functions, accessories, batteries, charger and vehicle mount, and one new LUCAS 3 chest compression system with batteries, charger, accessories and retention system. Vendors must offer an identified ambulance already completed or actively in production, provide production and delivery evidence, detailed specifications and drawings, compliance responses, warranty and service information, dealer authorization for Kansas, and three recent ambulance customer references. The firm fixed-price package must be delivered to Independence Fire-EMS during January 4–8, 2027, unless the City approves an alternate date in writing.
