Description
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, through its Innovation Institute Robotics Department, is issuing a Notice of Funding Opportunity for nonprofit ecosystem partners that can contribute to the growth and diversification of the Massachusetts robotics ecosystem. Eligible applicants include economic development agencies, industry associations, and educational institutions. Proposed projects should address at least one of three areas: expanding robotics into new sectors, growing or creating regional robotics clusters, or building collaboration and community among educational, industry, government, and local organizations. Projects should support robotics research, commercialization, education, training, employment, business formation, regional economic development, and measurable outcomes. Awards for larger-scale projects may reach $150,000, with larger amounts considered only in exceptional circumstances. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are expended, and all awarded funds must be fully expended by December 31, 2026. Required submissions include the Application Cover Sheet, an application narrative addressing the respondent's qualifications, project approach, goals, activities, anticipated impact, timeline, deliverables, milestones, and budget, the Budget Template, the respondent's W-9, the Authorized Application Signature and Acceptance Form, and any exceptions or counterproposals to the Subaward Grant Agreement.
