Description
The County of Orange Sheriff-Coroner is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of new rifles and related accessories. The specified items include BCM rifles, Streamlight weapon lights, Magpul slings, sights, rail sections, magazines, rifle cases, Scalarworks mounts, Aimpoint and Trijicon red-dot optics, Ameriglo sights, and a Radian optic plate. Refurbished or used items will not be accepted, substitutions require prior written County approval, and bids must be priced by line item. This is a usage-based contract with no guaranteed minimum quantity or expenditure. Orders will be placed as needed, with delivery required within 30 days of each initial order request to the Sheriff-Coroner Department Training Facility. The initial contract term is three calendar years beginning March 17, 2027. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the County's online bidding system and includes supplier information, references, certifications, non-collusion and campaign-contribution forms, and other required portal responses.
