The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting a Sources Sought notice for light-transmitting indicating panels, NSN 6220-01-710-8428, part number 12674732-4, CAGE 19200. The requirement identifies a base quantity of 18 each and an option quantity of 18 each for the M1A2 Abrams family of vehicles. The panels are coated transparent or partially transparent/opaque display components engraved with letters, words, or symbols to transmit light for indication. They may include an electrical lighting circuit on a removable printed circuit board or embedded within the panel. Qualification testing and evaluation are required to become an approved source; source approval does not guarantee an award and only provides an opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
