Description
The School District of Manatee County is soliciting proposals from USAC-approved and qualified providers for two Internet service or leased lit fiber circuits, each provisioned at 20 Gbps and upgradable to 80 Gbps. The service must include fully managed Layer 3 Internet transit, bundled E-rate-compliant firewall/UTM functionality, network monitoring, real-time bandwidth visibility, reporting, 24/7 network engineering support, BGP routing, IPv4 and IPv6 support, basic DDoS protection, VPN capabilities, centralized security logging, and defined uptime, latency, jitter, packet-loss, and outage-response commitments. The provider must install and place the services into operation by June 15, 2027, with service and billing commencing July 1, 2027. The initial contract term is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with up to five additional one-year renewals. Optional pricing is requested for managed SIEM/intrusion detection and prevention, advanced DDoS services, and alternate demarcation locations. Proposals must include eligible and ineligible costs by line item and comply with the specified technical, E-rate, reporting, maintenance, and service-level requirements.
