Description
Cook County Health seeks a qualified healthcare compliance consulting firm to support and enhance its system-wide Corporate Compliance Program. The selected firm will provide healthcare compliance and regulatory research, written guidance, project management, enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments, program effectiveness reviews, auditing and monitoring, policy and procedure review, compliance education and training, and interim or supplemental compliance staffing. The scope covers an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes an academic medical center, hospitals, ambulatory clinics, correctional health services, public health programs, and Medicaid managed care health plans. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience and expertise in healthcare regulatory compliance, fraud, waste and abuse prevention, HIPAA privacy and security, government healthcare programs, billing and coding compliance, corrective action, and compliance program development. The resulting contract will have a 36-month term with two 12-month extension options.
