Description
The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source contract to Republic Services, Inc. for integrated solid-waste management services at Malmstrom Air Force Base. The requirement includes municipal solid-waste, food-waste, bulk-item, construction-and-demolition debris, ash, lime, and special-event collection; transportation and disposal at permitted facilities; recycling collection, sorting, processing, transportation, and resale; and provision, placement, cleaning, repair, maintenance, and replacement of refuse and recycling containers. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, supervision, containers, reporting, and related services. Work includes scheduled and call-in pickups, route and schedule coordination, monthly tonnage and recycling reports, landfill weight tickets and tipping-fee documentation, compliance with applicable environmental and transportation requirements, employee and vehicle access procedures, and required quality-control activities. This is a special notice and not a request for competitive offers; interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
