Description
The State of Utah is seeking statements of qualifications from a qualified mental health provider to create and implement a confidential Officer Wellness Program for Utah Attorney General's Office personnel, including Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force members. The program must address secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, vicarious trauma, and related occupational stress arising from exposure to traumatic investigative content and victims of crime. Services include psychological assessments, individual counseling or treatment, preventive-care recommendations, referrals, self-care and stress-management training, supervisor and family education, team-cohesion exercises, peer support, screenings, and other role-appropriate wellness resources. The program must also serve approximately 50 additional employees whose work may involve traumatic evidence, criminal investigations, prosecutions, or other sources of secondary trauma. Offerors must submit a technical response addressing the required criteria, including program design, implementation, outcomes, key staff capabilities, relevant law-enforcement and trauma experience, curricula, supporting evidence, and provider qualifications. The technical response may not exceed 20 pages and must not include pricing. The highest-ranked vendor will be selected for contract negotiations, with a stated five-year contract length.
