Description
The City of Gardena is soliciting sealed bids for a public-works project involving installation of seven DC fast-charging power cabinets and fourteen DC fast-charging dispensers, with the charging equipment furnished by the City. The work also includes an AC disconnect, a network switch enclosure, structural pads for the power cabinets and dispensers, sawcutting, trenching, conduit, backfill, concrete patching, wire installation, termination, testing, charger commissioning, and project administration and management. The engineer's estimate is $445,593.00, and the stated completion period is 50 working days. Bidders must provide bid security of at least 10 percent of the total bid. The successful contractor must furnish 100 percent performance and payment bonds, hold an active California Class C-10 and/or Class A contractor's license, comply with prevailing-wage, apprenticeship, certified-payroll, federal Davis-Bacon, and Buy America requirements, and meet applicable Department of Industrial Relations registration requirements.
