Description
The City of Midland is soliciting unit-price bids for construction of the Phase III Sinclair Avenue and Westridge Loop 250 Deceleration Lane project. The scope includes mobilization, erosion and traffic control, right-of-way preparation, demolition, excavation, embankment, paving, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, drainage structures and pipe, water main and fittings, wastewater main and connections, fencing, barricades, pavement markings, signs, and related appurtenant work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, testing, coordination, traffic control, utility notifications, construction staking, and site cleanup necessary to complete the work under the plans and specifications. Substantial completion is required within 300 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. A 5% bid guaranty is required with the bid, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price, along with required insurance and applicable water and wastewater operator-license documentation.
