Description
Southwestern Community College is seeking Statements of Qualifications from licensed North Carolina engineering design firms for an HVAC system renovation at the two-story, 31,000-square-foot Founders Building. The project has a total budget of $600,000 and includes existing-condition assessment, schematic design, construction documents, assistance during the contractor bidding phase, and construction administration through project closeout. Responders must submit a Letter of Interest and the current State Building Commission Standard Form 254. The Letter of Interest is limited to 10 single-sided pages or five double-sided pages, and the submission must consist of three hard copies of each required item. The solicitation evaluates qualifications including relevant expertise, past performance, staffing, workload, design approach, cost and schedule experience, construction administration capabilities, and proximity to and familiarity with the project area.
